SUB5KW Macro Snoot

Installation

The SUB5KW Macro Snoot comes with an attachment clip that fits on top of your SUB5KW video light. 

This attachment clip is attached simply by pushing the clip onto the SUB5KW. 4 screws (2 for each side) are provided to provide a secure and stable attachment.

Power Control Ring

The SUB10KEF has a 11 step magnetic power control ring which controls brightness by increments of 10% (0% - 100%). At 0%, the video light is in standby mode and uses minimal power with no illumination from the torch. 

Always power off the video light when not in use after each dive. 

Usage Instructions

The SUB5KW snoot is designed to be ready to deploy quickly when you need to use your snoot. It offers a safe place to store the snoot as well when not in use. The snoot sits securely on the holder via the groove shown in the image below.

Simply remove the Snoot by pulling it straight out from the clip and place it on the front of the SUB5KW video light head. The snoot attaches/connects magnetically and requires no screwing action. When not in use, remove the snoot and place it back onto the clip holder.

 

Care & Maintenance

Always soak the SUB5KW Snoot in fresh water after use.

Wipe dry the snoot and the lens elements after soaking to prevent water marks from forming. 

After your dive trip, it is advisable to remove the screws on the holder clip to allow them to dry and prevent salt water buildup from fusing screws to the video light.
